Brief Information about COM

The Modaraba has launched an investment scheme as Certificates of Musharaka (COM), which offer an avenue to depositors in the private and corporate sectors seeking a fair return on their investments, in accordance with the principles of Shariah. The minimum investment in COMs is Rs: 25,000/- with no upper limit. They have flexible maturity ranging from 3 Months to 1 year. Investment in COM is in Pak Rupees. The profit is payable on maturity or on monthly basis, as desired by the Certificate Holder. The Certificate of Musharaka is transferable. The deposit can be made through Cash deposit, Cheque, Pay order or Bank Draft. The funds raised through COMs are used strictly in Shariah-compliant products.
