Director’s Profile

The Modaraba is functioning under the Board of Directors of KASB Modaraba Management (Private) Limited, which comprises of four Directors including the Chief Executive Officer:

Waseem Haqqie (Chairman)

Mr. Waseem Haqqie is a qualified Chartered Accountant having diversified experience in Pakistan and Middle East in public and private sectors, including senior management positions in the automobile industry as Chairman, CEO, COO and CFO, and as Chairman of several Government Organizations.
As a chairman of Board of Investment Pakistan, he was actively involved in framing investments and economic policies of Pakistan: focused on increasing foreign direct investments.
He has also been a member of several Government Cabinet Committees, including Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet, Cabinet Committee on Privatization and Cabinet Committee of Investment.

Syed M. Husaini (Chief Executive)

The professional team of the Modaraba is headed by Syed M. Husaini., the Chief Executive officer. He has vast Banking experience spanning over 29 years. He has served in a number of foreign and local financial institutions at senior positions. As President and Chief Executive of the newly established Rozgar Micro Finance Bank Limited, Karachi, he established the infrastructure of the Bank for implementing its objectives of helping the poor to support the poverty alleviation program. Prior to joining KASB Modaraba, he was engaged as the Chief Operating Officer in KASB Bank Limited.

Mr. Mir Mujahid Ali Khan (Director)

Mr. Mir Mujahid Ali Khan has vast experience of over 40 years in the banking sector. He started his banking career with Habib Bank Limited in 1965, his assignments during his 15 years stay in the Bank related mostly to credit and foreign trade. He worked with Middle East Bank, Karachi from October 1981 to December 1991 as Manager and subsequently as Senior Manager of Karachi Branch of the Bank.
In June, 1992, He moved to Askari Commercial Bank Limited as Vice President and rose in the corporate ladder to the position of Senior Executive Vice President in July, 2003.
Mr. Khan joined KASB Bank Limited in October, 2005 as Group Head, Credit Risk and Marketing Division.

Syed Mohammad Rahmanullah (Director)

Syed Mohammad Rahmanullah is 53 years old and holds a commerce degree form the University of Karachi. He has vast experience in the financial sector. He is currently on the Boards of KASB Funds Limited and Network Microfinance Bank Limited.
