Mr. Robert John Richard Owen - Chairman

Mr. Owen has over 32 years experience of the financial services industry and currently holds board memberships and equivalent positions in various entities internationally. He is the Chairman of Crosby Asset Management Inc and Chairman of the International Securities Consultancy Limited. He is also a Board member of the Dubai Financial Services Authority, Singapore Exchange Limited and Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited. His previous positions include Executive Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, Deputy Chairman of Nomura Asia Holdings Limited and Member of Council and Regulatory Board of Lloyds of London. He had also served as a Chairman and Chief Executive of Lloyds Merchant Bank Limited, as well as Director of Investment Banking for the Lloyds Bank Group.

Mr. Owen did his graduation with first class honours from Oxford University, United Kingdom.

Mr. Amer Maqbool - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Maqbool has over ten years of experience in the asset management industry, both in US and Pakistan. In the United States he has worked for leading organizations such as MassMutual, Cadaret Grant in New York and Fidelity Investments in Boston. In Pakistan, Mr. Maqbool joined ABAMCO Limited (now JS Investments) in 2003 to head the Business Planning and Development Department. He further joined BMA Asset Management Limited as Chief Operating Officer and was involved with all operational and business planning areas there.

Prior to joining KASB Funds, Mr. Maqbool was working as a Chief Executive Officer at Crosby Asset Management (Pakistan) Limited. At Crosby, he worked on taking over the management rights of AMZ Plus Income Fund (APIF), the first ever open-end fund takeover in Pakistan. In addition to his above credentials, Mr. Maqbool also has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Karachi Port Trust.

Qaiser P. Mufti

Mr. Qaisar P. Mufti has over 35 years experience in education, corporate laws, research, development banking, project financing, equity and loan financing, analysis and interpretation of financial statements. He has worked for Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan, United Bank Ltd. and Pakistan Kuwait Investment Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. Span of his career as development / investment banker extends beyond 30 years. He has also undertaken various consultancy assignments involving corporate laws, sales tax, banking, investments, systems designing etc.

He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) & Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP), Associate Member of Institute of Bankers in Pakistan, he holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

He is a member of Sindh Bar Council and enrolled as Advocate of High Court.

Mr. Syed Muhammad Rehmanullah

Mr. Rehmanullah has over three decade experience of the capital markets of Pakistan. He had served four times as an elected director of the Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited and also remained a member of its various committees.

Mr. Rehmanullah is also serving as a director on the Board of Directors of Network Microfinance Bank Limited and KASB Modaraba Management Company (Pvt.) Limited. He is commerce Graduate from the Government Commerce College, Karachi.

Mr. Muzaffar Ali Shah Bukhari

Mr. Bukhari comes from an investment banking background and possesses good understanding of local and international capital markets. Mr. Bukhari is also the Managing Director of KASB Group and has been instrumental in some major transactions and regional expansions for the Group. He has also worked with UBS Investment Bank, New York and Amaranth Advisors, Singapore.

Mr. Bukhari graduated Magna Cum laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelors Degree in Economics and has attended various courses at prestigious institutions including Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management and Babson College. He is also a CFA level III candidate.
